Clayton Platt - completed survey of Dewey Beach Property.  Presented detailed site plan.  Site has been

this is the fourth time the property has been surveyed, recommend record with registry of deeds so it is on record.  Clayton found some of the pins and set some granite boundary markers where missing.  Property is wider than the swim lines have been in recent years.  Clayton will update the plan with more buoy information.  Clayton will review boundary markers in the water with Scott and Paul.

Nate Emery, Michael Platt, Jesse Yates, Sam Emery presented information on skate park - features desired are included in presentation, this was a list that was developed with the American Ramp Company This is for bikes and skate boards

Equipment would replace the existing equipment, the proposed equipment would  have a lifespan closer to 25 years.  It is commercial grade equipment.  For reference the current equipment is of a residential grade quality.  Scott suggested skate group ask ARC about grant availability such as from the Tony Hawk Foundation.  Group will revisit the town manager about a warrant article and proper wording.  Ideas were tossed around with ideas for promoting and marketing the idea for the warrant article and the public support.

Betsy offered up Dick Katz (husband) to take pictures for the article and help edit an article for the paper.


Dewey Beach drainage - Patricia spoke to Tony Bergeron about a rough cost for redoing the drainage.  The new trees that were planted in August are Red Maples which are successfully growing elsewhere on the site.  On October 15/16 Scott was notified that these new trees were dead and not in such a way that indicated is was a result of any natural causes.  This was reported to the police department.  Additionally, back in May trees by the road were topped, also vandalism, which was also reported to the police department.

Matt McNally introduced himself, who he is and why he would like to join the committee.

Veteran's Field - Scott met with contractors on Tuesday November 15 KDL, Usko, Prospect Hill - Scott received two bids, Usko and PHC.
Motion by Patricia to accept bid by Mark Usko, second by Betsy, all in favor.

Accept minutes from October meeting. Motion by Patricia, second by Jon, all in favor to accept as written

Turkey Trot update - online registration closed at 670, plus over 30 paper forms.  Anticipating 1000-1200 participants.  A shuttle has been hired to bring people up from the Sherburne gym area.

Sunapee Harbor Magic will be 12/3 and will include the Looney Lunge.  Selectman have approved this for swimming in the harbor.

Betsy has expressed idea of having a spaghetti dinner to benefit the skate park.  Sean Moynihan is the principal of the high school.

Sunapee Seniors donated $500 to the Rec Department.  Money will be used towards dugouts at Dewey Field.

Motion to accept Matt McNally as a member of the rec committee by Patricia.  Second by Betsy.  All in favor

Meeting adjourned at 8:05pm.  Motion Patricia, second by Betsy.
